In the shadow of South Tyrol’s mountains, Banshee Murph took form as a solo project in the fall of 2005. Murph had already been making music under this pseudonym with his first band since 2001. In 2006, the first demo tape Windspiel was released, laying the foundation for what was to come. While also active in other bands, Banshee Murph made its live debut with a new lineup in 2008, leaving a lasting impression with intense performances. This formation remained active until the end of 2010, before Murph set the project aside to pursue new musical challenges.
In 2025, he returned with the single "Poltergeist", followed by his long-awaited debut album "Horror Paradise". This work is not only a journey through the early years but also a tribute to the new. The lyrics, paired with raw yet melodic sounds, reflect the fragility of life while celebrating its intensity. With a touch of horror, the songs explore the obscure, honor the beauty of transience, and transform darkness into an art form designed to provoke thought.
